THE OWNERS´S HISTORY

• (1997) FIRST RECORDS

  i started my first recordings in 1987 with an old grundig 2 track tape recorder in a ping pong with these 2 tracks. in the mid 90s I switched to adat recorders and analog mixing consoles.

• (1999) HOME STUDIOS

  my first experience in a big real studio was in hamburg in franz plasas home studios. i was booked as a musician and changed to an intern during the production. back home i quit my job and looked for a room to build my own studio.

• (2000) MY FIRST OWN STUDIO

  in 2001 I built my first own studio together with annette herrmann in berlin-pankow. from the beginning we were a team and annette started to manage the studio. first recordings were my own bands later bands suddenly asked about my sound and wanted to come over.

• (2006) THE SECOND STUDIO

  in 2006 the studio moved from the garage pankow to kreuzberg. in 2012 we expanded the loft by a further 120 sqm. the old factory floor was lovingly renovated and furnished by us. it is a particularly creative and lively place.
